Good work, Tim! Your words reminded me of American civil rights leader John Lewis, who was always encouraging people to get in, what he called, good trouble, necessary trouble.

Wow, so powerful Tim and thought provoking. I am always challenged by the fact that unless you are someone “known or important” your voice isn’t heard. The successful charities raising funds and awareness for a particular cause, are those with a name behind them, eg the Steve Waugh Foundation, the McGrath Foundation (I am not knocking them at all 🙂). Research isn’t done unless there are enough “people” to study and yet PhDs are awarded for obscure studies.
No system changes without conflict because there’s always people in the system who are happy with the status quo
